I am an Arts Integration Specialist, Educational Consultant, and Music Educator with 30 years of teaching and field experience. I left the classroom in 2019, and founded MATCH Studio and Consulting where I combine the business of teaching private piano lessons in my music studio and offering educational consulting with a focus on Arts Integration and STEAM.
I received my Level I (2018) and Level II (2020) Arts Integration Certification from the Institute for Arts Integration and STEAM , and worked there as a Certification Coach and content creator for 3 years. I currently consult with school districts in music education curriculum design, teacher coaching, and program development, and co-create original educational music through It's In The Hook (itsinthehook.net)."
I believe that combining the creative nature of the arts with academics gives students another access point to acquire knowledge that is meaningful, relevant, and culturally responsive. I am equally passionate about showing teachers how to change routine education through artistic thinking and expression.

MUSIC STUDIO
Piano studio for online and in person private lessons. Musical Instruction includes reading and playing standard music notation, ear training, theory, technique, and composition. Stand alone Music Theory, Sight reading, and Songwriting/Composition classes are also available upon request.
